Going to the Beach and Other Details: There is direct access to a beach in front of the home. There is also access to Fenwick Island State Park Beach approximately 1/3 mile south with plenty of parking. The park has lifeguards, showers, rest rooms, snack bar, and umbrella rentals. Rehoboth Beach is a quick 20 minutes north- home of tax-free shopping outlets, water-slides, go-cart tracks, an excellent strolling boardwalk and FANTASTIC restaurants! The town of Bethany Beach is 1/2 mile North and contains restaurants, trendy shopping a strolling boardwalk and more.
The home is located halfway between Fenwick Island and Bethany Beach. Fenwick Island spans about 14 blocks and has an eclectic assortment of tax-free stores. There are plenty of mini-golf courses and movie complexes as well. The town hall has a good playground for children, a basketball half court, and a shuffleboard court and a picnic area.
Bethany Beach is a quiet, family beach resort on the Atlantic Ocean in southern Delaware. it is an oasis for those seeking a small town, low stress beach vacation away from the commercialization of larger nearby resorts like the Jersey shore and Ocean City, MD.
